I have safely arrived aboard the Empire State VI and fortunately we still have internet so I can put up a quick post. I have unpacked my belongings in my cabin and have found that my cabinmate has moved in as well. He has yet to make an appearance so I have that encounter to look forward to. The day has been a fair blur as I finished packing and did some last minute errands today. Right now I have descended into the lower decks and am in the library.
Just looking about I can already tell that I will be spending all day tomorrow straightening out the place so I can make sure I know where everything is. I also need to decide what movie to play for tomorrow. Any suggestions are welcome. I have almost all the major motion pictures that have come out in the last few years. I also have this tendency toward a wicked streak where I will play for them just really ungermane movies for these cadets like maybe "Pretty Woman" or "Beaches." Anyway, I'll let you know what is on tap.
Now what is a bit disconcerting is that while my email seems to be installed, the default password is not working. I am hoping that this is just something minor since from here on out until I get to port email will be my only means of communication so I am anxious about that.
Oh yes, and my email will be jwilliams.tses@seawave.net, not my work email. They assign a different one while we are at sea.
In any event, that is all for tonight. I'll send you an update tomorrow (email working provided).
Fair Winds and Following Seas,
Joe

ungermane, what does that mean? What a clever word.
