Email Difficulties
Hello, this is Michelle. Unfortunately there has been no word today, and there may even be some email breakdown. I sent an email to Joe very late in the evening, and it was thrown back at me, claiming that my email address had a certain suspicious quality to it and was immediately disposed of. Hopefully (fingers crossed) we'll hear from him very soon. I will keep you posted. (pun intended?)

Perhaps it was rejected because it thought your oatmeal bread pictures were suspiciously delicious looking???
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update. I'm curious how you were able to post as Joe?
I've always been posting for him since he's been on the ship. He sends me the post and I sign in as him and post it. I don't think he can actually view the blog. But don't worry I send him comments!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like they have some building seas today. You can track the ship progress across the Atlantic using this website listed below. The ships location is close to this chart but not exact, its give you a general idea where they are. This is my sons second trip aboard who is a Engineering Cadet.

What do you mean by Building seas? The email still doesn't work. I really hope that it will soon.
ReplyDeleteIt's a little rough,Seas are 4.5 meters.
ReplyDeleteThey had email trouble all last year.
You can tell we're newbies at this so have some concern about the ship safely arriving to port.
ReplyDeleteI looked at the website to track the ship but am uncertain as to what I'm looking at in relation to the numbers shown on the map. Any hints?
Amy, If you zoom out until you see land both North America and Europe, you can tell the position in relation to this
ReplyDeleteThe map is interactive and just zoom out to see where they are in relationship to the land. The information you are reading is from the ship but are not real time.
ReplyDeleteI received and email from my son and they are in some very rough weather but all is well.
